An instant hit with the cats, with great adjustable settings.
1. Cat approval: I was initially cautious about how my cats would respond, as they’d never had a toy like this before. They were understandably wary when I first brought it out and activated it, but that cautious curiosity quickly turned into excitement, and before long, the hunt was on!2. Battery life: It charges reasonably quickly and maintains its charge for several hours of continuous use, which is great for keeping the cats entertained without constantly needing to recharge it.3. Adjustable speed: I really appreciate being able to adjust the speed. It makes the toy more versatile and lets me tailor the activity to how interested or energetic the cats are at any given time.4. Reactive mode: The purely reactive mode is a particularly useful feature. It’s great for bedtime, when I want the cats to have something to play with while we’re in bed, but don’t want to listen to the toy running constantly if they’ve lost interest.5. Value: For the price, this toy offers amazing value. The adjustable settings, useful reactive mode and solid battery life make it feel like a worthwhile purchase.6. Overall: My cats took to this much faster than I expected, and I love the flexibility of the different modes. loved by my cats, a bit expensive
Most of my cats have that “hunter instinct” where they will chase after bugs that get into the house and fight over who gets to play with or eat them, and this toy triggers that instinct in them so hard. Even the kittens who never experienced outside life hear the chirps and see the movement this thing makes and they instantly perk up from wherever they are in the house and come rushing to find out what’s going on and chase it. It’s common to see all of them chasing it and crouching together, waiting for it to chirp or move again after it stops.Unlike other toys I’ve had that are similar to this, this one lets you pop the ball off the frame and clean out any hair that gets gummed up in the gears. After a few days of use, I noticed it wasn’t spinning as freely and it had a knott of cat hair on one side, preventing it from spinning well. It was easy to pop apart, clean it, and snap back together, and it’s working like new.I will say, I think this is a *little* expensive at 17$, but so far it’s been durable enough that I wouldn’t feel bad spending that much on it.

Entertaining, and super useful way to entertain.
This kitty toy is very cool. It is easy to charge with the USB-C cable which is included. I prefer using a longer cable. The roller ball is covered with a silicone texture which provides a durability. In case of a hair or dirt buildup, it is easy to wipe clean. Do not submerge in water. The power and speed of this rolling toy was pretty shocking. It is faster than I thought it would be. I like that it came with 2 different toys to add variety for the kitty play. Each toy actually screws into the toy base so it is secure.Now I have to say that it rolls really well. I like that it stops and goes, jeeping the kitties attention. When it hits a solid item, it changes directions. The flashing light and string (my kitties prefer chasing the string) , keeps them interested. It even held my dog’s attention. I am very pleased with this toy. The best toy I’ve gotten them in a long while. Well worth the purchase! Perfect for any kitty home.

Great, overpriced cat toy
My cats absolutely love this toy. It totally scratches that hunting itch, and gives them lots of exercise. It charges with a simple USBC cable, and seems pretty durable. I like that you can switch out the tails on it for some variety. We have had a number of toys similar to this for our cats, and I can tell you that there are some downsides. Stupid things always want to seem to go under the couch, or behind furniture, or to make a beeline straight for the basement and into our laundry room where they then go and Lodge themselves behind the furnace and water heater. I don’t know that there’s anything one could do about that. Eventually, the batteries on these do die. We’ve thrown out two or three where the batteries no longer charge, but that was when the toys were a year or two old.This one has an interactive mode, in which it will run for a few seconds and then stop and wait for the cat to bump it again, which reactivates it. This would probably work for a lot of cats. My cat’s too stupid to figure out how to make it go again. But honestly, that’s on my cat.The only reason I did not give this one five stars is because it is extremely overpriced. Most of the toys that I have bought that are similar to this cost around three or four dollars. This one is priced at $20. That seems an unjustifiably high price for this toy.

Hilarious to watch cats with this
This toy has been incredibly entertaining to watch. At first I was annoyed – upon turning it on it made a beeline for under the TV stand. But it is surprisingly very good about freeing itself and makes ita way out from under whatever it down whatever hallway 95% of the time. It behaves in a seemingly erratic way and has periods of pause before taking off again. This gives the cats plenty of time to walk up and investigate, only for it to take off, sometimes towards them, which is hilarious. The battery hasn’t died yet, but it’s type c rechargeable. I’ve found that after 10-15 minutes it loses novelty, but turn it on a few times a day for some entertainment.It DOES pick up seemingly every hair on your floor. The designers however planned for this, and the whote/clear part is easily removable so the hair can be removed. The sides are NOT the same, so be careful putting it back.

Look, I have low expectations these days for cat toys. Almost every ‘interactive cat toy’ I’ve bought turns out to be a dud. My cats sniff at it disdainfully and then go play with the box it came in. Not this toy. I put it on the floor in my foyer and turned it on. It started squeaking and rolling around the floor and within a minute and a half it had summoned every cat in the house. They watched it for awhile but in no time my kitten was chasing it around like crazy. I will say they vastly prefer the little bug attachment to the long string. I was expecting this thing to get stuck all the time when it rolls into corners but surprisingly, it rarely does. The adaptive rolling really gets it around the room, and the squeaks it lets out when it gets ‘caught’ makes my pets go kind of feral.Bonus, my dogs love it too! I don’t let them play with it much because they’re too rough, but I have a pit/husky mix and a shepherd with high prey drives and they think this toy is the greatest thing ever.Also, it came with instructions on how to clean hair out of it. I have four shedding dogs and am fighting a losing battle with pet hair daily and this was such a good addition.

Fun!
This interactive cat toy has been fantastic! I have a bengal who’s grown bored so I’ve been looking for more interactive toys to give her something new to pique her interest. It comes with two pieces, a rope and a little winged bug that you can change out on the ball. It has a few different movement patterns, to keep kitties interested. I like that it goes still for a bit until a cat touches it again, and then it starts up with the movement. I really like that you can charge it with a cord, and it seems to have a good battery life. It also includes instructions on how to remove the ball to get all the hair off that wraps around it when running all over the place, which is a nice touch! This has been my fave cat toy, and my cats love it, too!

Right out of the box, its FAST! Very impressive!
This things got some power! Right out of the box , I pushed the power button and it’s scooting across my floor at a very high rate of speed!The ball will randomly stop, spin, change direction, or run in circles. It comes with two attachments , a little red rope or a fake spider looking thing with feathers- perfect for kitty’s! It even squeaks like a little mouse at times seems to be at random.My cat’s haven’t quite figured it out yet…what’s happening, what it is, if it’s real or not. It’s definitely keeping them busy though. My dog hates it! If you have a dog be prepared for a lot of barking…. Maybe just my dog, but I’m sure once she’s used to it she’ll stop.I think this is priced very fair. As mentioned, this has a lot of power, it goes really fast. I was very impressed. I’d recommend this.It’s a very good quality cat toy!

1.5 year old cat likes it
This is unlike any other cat toy I’ve tried before. It has three settings–fast, slow, and reactive to touch. My cat likes the interactive yellow mode the most, and the red string instead of the bug. It’s really funny to watch as well since it moves randomly and keeps him running around. It did take him a little while to warm up to it, since it’s louder and faster than the basic toys he’s used to. Since it’s electronic it makes a little whirring noise as it rolls, then the bird noise, and the shaking sound when it vibrates. So I wouldn’t leave this out at night when you’re trying to sleep. It runs just fine on the tile in the kitchen and the carpet everywhere else. It’s easy to clean if hair gets caught up in it–the plastic sides pop off and on. One funny thing about this toy is that because it moves randomly, if it gets itself stuck somewhere, it almost always manages to roll free and keep going, so we don’t have to retrieve it as much from under the sofa and similar places as we do with basic puff balls and other toys. Battery life seems fine, at least in the more intermittent mode. It has lasted days on just the factory charge. Overall though, I think it is overpriced. But if that’s not an issue for you, this does work.

Not for scaredy cats.
This interactive cat toy is maybe too powerful and fast. We have tried all 3 modes and have left it now on the slowest mode that is more random and stops for breaks. My cats were immediately interested in this toy, but the speed seemed to scare them away from it. They got irritated that it would run into them and they would jump and began to just avoid it. I’m hoping on the more random slower setting that they will get used to it and play with it more. The battery does seem to last an incredibly long time. We’ve had it on for days now and it is still waking up randomly and chirping or bouncing a bit to get the cats attention. If you don’t have scaredy cats like mine, I think it’s a good toy.
